The Temporary full-time Family Support Advocate will provide support, referral and resource information, education, and assistance to community members, whether walk-ins or via referrals, through home visitation and in-office visits; will provide intake, assessment, and ongoing case management to families by identifying and utilizing community resources; will role model professional behavior; and will assist families in empowering themselves helping them identify their solution through a strengths-based model. The approximate dates for this position will be April 1, 2023 -August 31, 2023.

This position requires a willingness to work independently and as part of a team in various environments. Must possess strong organizational skills and have a reliable means of transportation, and the ability to drive unrestricted. Must be able to work flexible hours, including occasional nights and weekends. Fluency in speaking and writing in English and Spanish is required.
