Gratitudes is a small, family run, female owned retail store lucky enough to be located in the heart of Historic Downtown Truckee. We specialize in unique gifts, home décor, wonderful custom furniture from around the world and interior design by our owners, Julie & Sue.
We are looking for someone who would benefit from a consistent part-time position with an option of health benefits. If health benefits are chosen, a portion of the premium would be paid by the employer. Hourly compensation is based on a specific skill-set as it pertains to Gratitudes’ needs, PLUS commission on furniture sales.
Experience in furniture sales is not necessary, but an interest in home décor is a must! You will be trained on “all things furniture” in our eclectic boutique.
The perfect candidate must be able to:
Be on their feet for the duration of their shift
Unpack merchandise & lift items overhead
Take care of light cleaning, vacuuming & dusting
Be available on the weekends **We are thoughtful about working around each person’s reasonable needs! Shifts could be any day of the week.
Have a valid driver’s license and one’s own vehicle to travel to and from work
Maintain a professional appearance
Show exceptional customer service to our loyal & new customers
