Tahoe Ability Program is designed to create community inclusion, foster independence and promote progress for people with developmental disabilities within their community. Tahoe Ability Program strives to encourage self-advancement and assistance in reaching individualized goals.
Instructors are responsible for providing flexible, tailored, participant-driven, and goal-oriented Independent Living Services in the community and in the home to clients. ILS Instructors model appropriate skills and behaviors required for independent living.
Job Coaching is designed to promote progress and independence for those individuals with developmental disabilities. Participants are able to customize services to support their employment. Staff members will work directly with participants and employers to find flexible positions that fit the skill set of each individual.
