 Open all umbrellas unless windy. (close all umbrellas when windy)
 Wipe off tables, chairs, and lounges
 Clean restrooms (including sinks, toilets, mirrors, showers)
 Clean windows
 Wipe down walls if needed
 Restock toilet paper, hand towels, hand and soap
 Check on loaner equipment (basketball, bocce balls, pickle balls/rackets, bean bag toss,
horseshoes) and report missing or broken items to management.
 Keep pool deck free of debris
 Water flowers
 Notify supervisor of any problems
Ongoing duties
 Welcome and check in pool guest for the pool. Keep a real time tally of guests.
 Children in diapers must wear diapers in the pool
 Enforce NO FOB, NO ENTRY. Also, Guest can have people up to unit occupancy. Ensure
the number of guests in any given group is under the maximum occupancy limit for that
unit.
 Pay special attention to pool guest reserving loungers, chairs and tables. A person must
be present to have a table seat or lounge. If they leave, the facility usage cannot remain
reserved and opens up for a new pool guest. After 10 Minutes move personals to main
table.
 Check in/out loaner equipment. Make a note of the unit number. Have guest initial for
equipment.
 Notify contact Staff member via radio in case of guest behavior problems, or if the
restrooms, sauna, or exercise room are in need of attention.
 Assist guests with saunas and workout room at their request or notify on call staff
member if needed. Enforce age limit under 14 must have adult present.
 Maintain overall cleanliness of pool area
 Keep pool deck free of debris
 Help keep the pool clean by skimming the surface when no bathers are present
 Always maintain allowed occupancy. Once occupancy has reached maximum 66
maximum no other guests are allowed in the pool area. Guests wishing to use the pool
must wait until the occupancy drops below 66.
 Give a warning for horseplay or other rule violations. If a violation occurs a 2 nd time,
dismiss pool guest and record on dismissal form. If guest refuses to leave, call staff
member to assist and determine if sheriff should be called.
 Check Coolers for Glass containers upon guest entry. Do not allow glass of any kind past
the gate.
 If staff member is needed, the revocation of privileges will be considered.
 If a guest becomes irate, inform them that you are calling management.
 Attendant should enforce all rules including ping pong and equipment abuse
 No unattended children in Sauna or exercise room under the age of 14
 Close pool down during lighting storms if thunder is heard. Follow protocol and re open
30 min after last thunder clap.
 Close down pool for any sanitary reasons. Notify Staff Member. The manager will decide
when to reopen.

Closing Shift 2:30pm to 9pm or sunset, which ever comes first.
