MOGROG Rotisserie is a food truck built on a 1973 Mercedes Unimog, which began year-round operations in 2018. A few years later we expanded to a winter seasonal cafe, which we operate at Alpine Meadows Ski Resort. Our menus feature fresh, modern Alpine food. We’ve created our take on classic European dishes with an emphasis on utilizing as much local product as possible. Seasonal dishes and rotating specials are offered throughout the year.
Our rotisserie oven is the main feature of the food truck kitchen, which allows us to roast whole chickens, pork loins, and legs of lamb. We produce the majority of our food at our commissary kitchen in Truckee, where our truck is stored.
MOGROG food truck visits weekday local farmers markets, weekend community events, and also private events. We serve made-to-order food in a variety of places and settings, yet aim to always have a consistently well-executed ticket.
Our team is seeking to add experienced food professionals to the crew; those who have a knack for good service and enjoy working in the culinary field. Front of house positions available. We are willing to train folks with less experience if you’re eager to learn and love food!
Responsibilities of all MOGROG Employees:
Starting pay is dependent on experience, rates begin at $16-$20 per hour plus tips. Schedules are flexible, staff meals are free. Healthcare benefits and paid sick time will be available after first 60 days. Year-round employment possible with food truck and catering operations in the summer, and the cafe reopening Winter 2023-24!
