Sierra Senior Services/Meals on Wheels Tahoe is looking for a dedicated, caring person to serve as the Home Delivered Meals Coordinator. You will get to know the clients and help  them with more than just meals! This is a full-time hourly position (7:30 AM – 3:30 PM) with limited overtime, based in Truckee. You must have the ability to interact well and respectfully with staff and seniors while using independent judgment to determine eligibility for the home delivered meals program. You will coordinate all meal delivery services for Sierra Senior Services so you must understand the needs of older people and have the ability to problem-solve while maintaining strict client confidentiality.  You will work with the kitchen staff regarding daily meal count, menu changes for special diets, and new clients.  You will need to be computer literate, able to learn new software and perform basic computer functions. The pay range for this position is $22 to $25 an hour depending on experience. Sierra Senior Services offers paid time off, complimentary midday meals and the CalSavers 401 K Savings Plan.
