Full Belly Deli is looking for an experienced person to assist the manager in daily operations!

Full Belly Deli has been a local staple in the Truckee community since 2008 where we have been serving up creative sandwiches, wraps, and breakfast items as well as house made soups, fresh baked breads, and delicious salads. FBD has been able to expand into Reno, with two restaurants serving the Reno community. Recently, we were featured on the show Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives on the Food Network, showcasing our Nacho Pollo Loco Sando and Biscuit & Gravy Burrito with Guy Fieri!

The Assistant Manager will work closely with the manager on day-to-day operations and manage FOH duties and employees. Our hours of operations are Monday through Friday from 7 am to 3 pm, and Saturdays from 10 am to 3 pm. No Sundays, No Nights, and closed for most major holidays!

General Duties

  • Working closely with the manager to provide assistance for daily operations
  • Maintaining a positive work environment for all employees
  • Resolving cash tills at the end of shift
  • Generating accurate till reports for each register
  • Managing and performing check-out functions on a daily basis
  • Keeping all customer areas and visible areas clean and up to health department standards
  • Communicating clearly and openly with customers
  • Assisting in training of new staff on SOPs/opening/closing duties
  • Managing the check-out area and ensuring each station remains clean and efficiently run
  • Responding to Cashiers’ requests for price checks, voids, POS issues and other cashier related issues for customer service
  • Listening to customer complaints and questions and referring them to the manager when needed
  • Working with manager and owners on any concerns/issues/maintenance/large catering requests
  • Ensuring all stations have adequate cash and change at all times
  • Posting lunch and breakfast specials when/where applicable
  • Communicating with kitchen staff about product concerns, 86’ed items and caterings
  • Communicating with manager/owners on general improvements, POS, ordering, etc.
  • Keeping items stocked at appropriate par levels and assisting in daily ordering as needed
  • General knowledge of each menu item and how to execute each menu item to FBD standards
  • Being a team player, a leader and a positive force in making FBD successful!


  • $45,000-$50,000 a year (hourly rate plus tips)
