The Community Methodist Church of Truckee (“Church of the Mountains”), is hiring an Administrative Assistant. We have been a presence in downtown Truckee for over 150 years and our motto is: Loving all People with Open Hearts, Open Minds, and Open Doors. While you need not be a member of the Methodist Church, you will find a very welcoming community at Church of the Mountains.
We are looking for a reliable and friendly team player with good communication and office skills.
The job will include varied tasks supporting the functions of the church as a place of worship and service to the community. These tasks include:
The weekly time needed is between 15-20 hours. Pay depends on qualification, starting at $20.-/per hour, with review and pay increase possible after 4 months.
Part of the job can be done remotely, but a presence of 10-12 hours at church per week is required. Flexible work hours can be arranged with the pastor.
