The mission of Sierra Child & Family Services is to provide excellent mental health, foster, and adoptive services for children and families in Northern California.

Traditional service delivery practices are modified based an understanding of the vulnerabilities or triggers of trauma survivors that may be exacerbated by conventional approaches, thus avoiding re-traumatization.
Culturally Relevant
The culture, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, gender expression, immigration or refugee status, language, race, religion, sexual orientation, and tribal heritage of each family is taken into consideration during treatment planning and service delivery.
