Seasonal Snow Removal ($24.29/hr – $32.79/hr)

This is a temporary seasonal position with our Public Works Department which typically goes from mid-November through the end of March; weather dependent.  The ideal candidate is able to work nights, weekends, and holidays under adverse conditions.

Candidate must be responsible and able to work in a skilled and independent manner without close supervision. Must communicate well with supervisors, co-workers and the public.  Experience operating various pieces of heavy equipment used in the performance of street maintenance and snow removal preferred.  Knowledge of Town road system a plus.

The position requires a Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License and employee will be part of the DOT Random Drug Testing Pool.

The Town of Truckee is a drug-free work place. Town employment requires the successful completion of a physical examination, drug screen background check, criminal history questionnaire, and a copy of your DMV record.

A Town of Truckee job application with a signed Notice to Driver Applicants of Controlled Substances Testing Requirements is required.
