About the role

The Intermediate Interior Designer is responsible for assisting in delivering all design requirements. The ideal candidate will have exceptional design skills, a background in interior design and a portfolio of innovative design concepts. The Intermediate Interior Designer is an integral part of the design team who will coordinate the administration, production and execution of projects. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Principal on all design projects from concept to completion
  • Provide design and documentation support and leadership on projects of various sizes and complexities
  • Ability to conceptualize unique design concepts and solutions
  • Develop presentations, drawings, selection palettes, and specifications
  • Assist the Principal in the management of all projects and its subs
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of project requirements and details
  • Communicate with clients, contractors, consultants and internal team 

Qualifications/Skills:

  • 4-6 years of professional experience in Interior Design
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Interior Design or related field
  • Strong design portfolio 
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or an alternative BIM platform 
  • Knowledge of Photoshop and Sketchup are preferred
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent oral and written communication and skills
  • Proficient in iOS, Microsoft Office and/or G-Suite
  • Overall aptitude to learn new software
  • Ability to multitask; meet deadlines and is eager to grow with the company
  • Excellent attention to detail and highly organized
  • Confident, efficient and collaborative

Benefits:

  • $70,000 – $95,000/year, depending on experience
  • Full time position
