The League to Save Lake Tahoe is searching for an exceptionally organized, detail-oriented “big picture thinker and doer” to join our fun and growing team of environmental experts and enthusiasts. As the backbone of our Operations program, the Executive Operations Coordinator will lead and coordinate many aspects of the entire organization’s day-to-day needs, including responsibilities ranging from daily mail logging to executive-level assistance for the Chief Operating Officer. This position will also play a key role in helping the League transition into a high-functioning, hybrid, nonprofit organization which attracts the best talent. The role is instrumental in leading and advancing key employee programs and is therefore vital to the League’s success. This selected applicant will contribute at both hands-on and strategic levels, and partner with cross-functional teams to design and deliver solutions that maximize the League’s efficiency and our valued staff’s work/life balance.
The position will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
Our world-renowned “Keep Tahoe Blue” sticker is both a symbol of an increasingly important mission and an intentional, sustainability-focused lifestyle. Founded in 1957, the League is the oldest and most successful environmental organization focused on protecting and restoring Lake Tahoe’s environmental health and beauty. We have a culture of trust and respect that supports and guides our decision-making and planning for the future.
Our organization has embarked on a thoughtful DEI journey focused on delivering our programs and services in a culturally mindful manner that centers and lifts a wide array of partners and supporters. Our work environment is collaborative, respectful, and inclusive, with a focus on building allyship and a sense of belonging that empowers all team members to show up as their full selves every day. Come to learn, grow, and succeed while sharing your passion for protecting one of America’s most treasured regions.
