About Tahoe Mountain Club

Job Summary:  Deck Crew monitors daily use of the Pools and Pool Decks at Pavilion to ensure guest satisfaction, visual presentation and participant compliance with facility rules, regulations and safety policies. Assures that the club’s Standards of Excellence are met throughout the facility at all times.

Education/Experience: Must be 16 years of age or older. Must provide valid high school approved work permit at time of onboarding.

Language/Communication: Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English). Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from guests.

Certificates/Licenses/Safety Training:  None

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

  • Properly addresses Members, by name when possible, upon arrival and departure.
  • Check all Member IDs upon entry and ensure they have booked a reservation.
  • Utilize tablet to reserve additional reservations for members or book them into other club events.
  • Ensure guests are departing the pool deck at their scheduled check out time.
  • Properly handles inventory procedures.
  • To the best of your ability, help promote social distancing.
  • Wear face cover and gloves at all times.
  • Disinfect all pool furniture, including umbrellas, during each block between reservations.
  • Disinfect touch points multiple times throughout the day, ex. slide stair railing, doors, and gates.
  • Scrub down and disinfect pool deck between reservations.
  • Stock cleaning supplies and hand sanitizer at work stations.
  • Keep pools free of toys, goggles, and debris.
  • Performs outdoor facility opening and closing duties.
  • Ensure umbrellas are set up at the beginning of each day and taken down at the end of each day.
  • Responds to emergency situations, as dictated by facility policy.
  • Answers guest inquiries in a polite, educated manor.
  • Maintains flexibility to take on new/different tasks as directed.
  • Reports and immediately acts on safety concerns.
  • Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
  • Other duties, as needed

Because of the fluctuating demands of the Club’s operation, it may be necessary that each employee perform a multitude of different functions; therefore, as an essential part of your job, you will be expected to help others when the occasion arises, just as other employees are expected to help you. Accordingly, you may be expected to perform other tasks, not specifically addressed above.
