The Placer County Community Development Resource Agency is accepting applications to fill one Senior Building Inspector vacancy in Tahoe.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of two years successful experience as a senior level inspector and/or plans examiner within a municipality reviewing plans and performing building inspections of complex single-family dwellings, multi-family dwellings, and non-residential structures. In addition, this candidate will have the ability to mentor and train staff in the ability to plan check and inspect these complex structures.

Minimum Qualifications:
Experience: Two years of responsible journey level experience performing duties similar to those of a Building Inspector II in Placer County.
Training: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade. Additional specialized training in building codes, construction technology or a related field is desirable.
License: Possession of a valid Certificate of Registration as an Inspector issued by the International Code Council.
